FSC Policy

ECO RECICLAJE MADERA S.L. policy on the consumption of forestry material and commitment to Health, Safety and Labor Forest certification under the requirements of the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) standards are excellent tools to promote forest conservation and the maintenance and improvement of forest biodiversity. On the other hand, the certification of the chain of custody is a key element to guarantee to the market the origin of the raw materials we use. ECO RECICLAJE MADERA is aware of both the impact of its purchasing decisions on the forests it uses and the importance of promoting responsible forest management and workers' rights among its suppliers. Consequently, ECO RECICLAJE MADERA is committed to avoid as far as possible any direct or indirect relationship with activities such as:

  • Illegal logging or illegal marketing of timber or forest products;
  • The violation of human and traditional rights in forestry operations;
  • The destruction of large conservation values by logging activities;
  • The conversion of natural forests to plantations or non-forest uses;
  • The introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations;
  • Violation of any of the ILO Core Conventions as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, 1998.

  • ECO RECICLAJE MADERA also undertakes to comply with social and health and safety commitments established in current legislation, such as:
  • Allow workers to associate freely, elect representatives and collective bargaining.
  • Respect the minimum legal age for hiring (16 years).
  • Comply with the legal requirements for occupational health and safety, as well as not using forced labor.
  • Respect conditions of equal opportunity and equal treatment of workers.
Therefore, management is committed to ensuring that this Policy is understood and implemented at all levels of the company, and is available to all our customers and stakeholders.
